Can I get my product personalised?
Yes you can however it does depends on the product. All options are outlined on the product page as you place the order, so look out for customisation options there.

Are the batiks Ethically produced?
We believe that investing in your business means investing in your people. That’s why we do our best to ensure that each of the batikers receives a fair wage, and encourage them to maintain equitable workplace practices. This is out top priority for the Batikers. 

As Letasi Design Studio we look at ourselves as the bridge between the Batikers and YOU, the Batik fabric owners.

By focusing on more sustainable and fair production processes for the Batikers, we will be able to fill your closet and or sewing studios with batik fabrics and pieces that are comfortable, and chic, and also make a positive impact on the artisans in East Africa and most importantly on our environment.


Do you ship overseas?
Yes, we ship all over the world. Shipping costs will apply, and will be added at checkout. 

I live outside UK, will I be charged import duties?
All countries have different rules and regulations regarding taxes, duties and customs regulations. Our free shipping does not include any taxes or duties which may be applied by customs at your destination country. These are beyond our control and every country is different. For more information on taxes, duties and customs regulations, we recommend contacting your local customs office directly.

How long will it take to get my order?
Batik is a work of love that takes hours and sometimes days to craft. It is a beautiful creative process which births timeless patterns and prints. As our batiks are handmade there will be variations in the colour and print of each item made. 

All the batiks (in both fabric and for the products) are each made to order, hence the PRE-ORDER model. This variability adds to the beauty of our pieces.

All pre-order items will therefore take 3 weeks to be delivered to you. Thank you for your patience.

Depends on where you are. Orders within the UK may arrive faster than those overseas. Delivery details will be provided in your confirmation email.

What shipping carriers do you use?

We use all major carriers, and local courier partners. 

How can I track my order?
Once dispatched, you will be sent an email from Letasi Design Studio with your tracking number and a link to click to track the status of your order and estimated delivery. With this link you are free to track your parcel at your own convenience, at any time using the online tracking service.

Can I return my product?

We always aim for make sure our customers love our products, but if you do need to return an order, we’re happy to help. Just email us directly and we’ll take you through the process.

I purchased an item on Sale, can I return it?
You are welcome to return your sale item(s) to us for a store credit. Your store credit will be issued in the form of a coupon code, which you can apply at the checkout to purchase an alternative style or size via our online store.
All items must be sent back in their original, unworn condition with tags attached.

What about return Shipping costs?
You will be required to pay for your own shipping costs if you decide to return an item from your order (Unless the item is proven to be faulty). Shipping costs are NON-REFUNDABLE. We highly recommend using a reliable tracked service as Letasi Design Studio are not held liable for any lost packages and take no responsibility in tracking your return.
